Okay! I'm gonna try to give you some french recipies and I'll start with easy ones!
Clafoutis ( cherry cake )
What you need:
Cherries rather very mature 3,17 Oz white flour 2 eggs 8,3 Oz milk 2 fl Oz crème fraîche ( you can replace it by a mix of sour cream1/2 and heavy cream1/2) 1,7 Oz of melted butter 2 spoons of vanilla sugar or 1 spoon vanilla extract. 3 Oz of sugar
Option: 3;5 0z brown rhum
Preparation: In a bowl , put the flour, sugars, vanilla extract, eggs, crème fraiche or white cheese, start to work and mix everything with your wooden spoon. The dough must be homogeneous. Add the milk ( and eventually the rhum) little by little, and mix it until you have a nice dough. If it's not homogeneous, you can use a mixer . In a buttered dish put the dough and finally add the cherries. It's way better if your dish is a little bit high. Put the dish in the oven ( Th 6-7) and let it during 20mn . When it's cooked, let it rest until it's cold and put it in the fridge. It must be served cold. You can also enjoy it with vanilla, cherry ice cream or whipped cream but it's a lot lol!

Ratatouille: No lol it's not the movie it's a real french recipie from the South of France!
For 2 , you'll need:
6,17 Oz of eggplants, zucchinis, green, red, yellow peppers, onions 8,6 Oz of matures tomatoes thyme 1 bay leaf 4 cloves of garlic 8 tablespoon of olive oil Salt and pepper
Cut the veggies in dice. Cook them separately ( very important) and cook the tomatoes at the very end. Once all your veggies are cooked add them to the tomatoes, add salt and pepper, one bay leaf one branch of thyme and let simmer for 45mn. From time to time, you have to stir with a (wooden) spoon. This veggie recipie goes well with all kind of meat especially chicken or turkey, ham or porc but it's also delicious with an omelet. You can also eat the leftovers cold with a green salad.
Sometimes I add olives but it s my taste and not in the real recipie.

Pork chops "Poivrade"
For this recipie for 2 you need : ( marinade the day before)
2 pork chops 1 tablespoon of honey 1 tablespoon of tomato puree 1 tablespoon of Soya sauce 1 tablespoon olive oil 3,3 Oz white wine 2 garlic cloves Provence herbs 1 tablespoon old mustard ( mustard with seeds) Black pepper 'seeds and powder)
Marinade: Put the ingrediens all together , add the pork chops and let that in the fridge all night.
Make gild, bronze the meat. Filter the marinade and add it to the meat and reduce the sauce ( cook it with low fire).
You can serve it with rice, boiled potatoes, french fries, green salad and lots of other veggies.

Pork Chops sauce crème fraïche with mushrooms and onions.
Okay I did some research and apparently you can find some crème fraîche in some shops like Trader Joe's or Whole Food You can also mix 1/2 sour cream 1/2 heavy cream.
For 2P you need:
2 pork chops Any mushrooms you like 2 onions Pepper seeds and pepper powder, salt 5 Oz of white wine Crème fraîche 3 tablespoons Olive oil 2 tablespoons
The day before: Put your pork in a dish, cover with sliced onions pepper salt white wine . Let it in the fridge all night.
Day D:
Prepare your mushrooms : cook them with a little bit of olive oil. Put them aside. Then cook the pork chops and until they are a little brown on the side. Add the wine, onions and mix a little. Add your mushrooms then add the crème fraîche or mix cream at the end, just the time the cream is homogeneous.
It goes well with rice, potatoes, green beans...

So you are saying the dough has cheese, and no butter? It must be a very soft cheese, is it sweet? Is this more of a pie? I am a teeeny bit confused! And I am trying to imagine which cheese we would use here...Maybe what we call Farmer cheese. There are also sweet mexican cheeses, but not so much in American cookery. (PS- I made a cherry pie last summer and neither of these kids would touch it! ARGH!!!- please keep the recipes coming- I might try this with fresh peaches... But I hate Rum! HATE, so I would be skippings that....Now if you only had a recipe with Chambord - YUM) ps- just saw your note about finding the creme at at Trader joes- I knew that. I am thinking cheese... Stuffed Tomatoes and peppers.
For 2 P, you need:
2 Peppers ( red, green or yellow or orange, like you prefer) 2 big tomatoes 6,4 0z of ground pork 2 cloves of garlic Lots of Parsley 1 egg White bread without the crust or bread-crumb Salt pepper Olive Oil A little bit of butter
Open your veggies at the top to make a little hat. Empty tomatoes and keep(preserve) to part. Deseed peppers.
Stuffing: in a bowl mix the ground pork, the bread, the egg, the parsley in little pieces, the garlic in little pieces, salt and pepper. ou have to mix with your hands to have this homogeneous stuffing. When it's ready, fill in the tomatoes and peppers ; Pu the little hats of tomatoes and peppers and add a pich of butter on the top. Take some of the juice of the tomatoes you put apart. put it in the dish you avoid to burn the veggies like that and you will have a sauce to put on either rice or your fresh bread. Finally put some olive oil above the veggies, then put the dish in the oven TH 6 40 minutes. ( You better check when it s over 20mn) or from time to time!
You can decorate with parsley and eat it with rice, potatoes ( you can also do stuffed potatoes) or a green salad !

The dough is the traduction for pâte, in this case it's more close to pancake/crepes constitancy than a dough like a pizza! pretty liquid if you prefer!

Stuffed tomatoes and peppers with beef and couscous:
For 2P you need:
1 Stock cube of beef 2 peppers ( green and red) 4 regular tomatoes or 4 small 4,5 Oz ground beef 3,5 oz of couscous 1 lttle onion 0,8 oz Pine nuts 1/2 tablespoon of Chiselled coriander 1/2 table spoon of Chiselled fresh mint 2 tablespoon olive oil , salt ( option pepper)
Heat the oven at th 6 Cut little hats for the veggies, empty them and keep the tomato juice/pieces. Put the veggies in a dish, then put the olive oil on them, then put the dish in the oven 25 mn
Boil 4,3 oz of water with the beef cube , uut it on the couscous , thenn wait 5mn .
In a pan with olive oil, put the onion cut in small pieces, the beef, the rest of tomatoes, the pine nuts, the herbs , add salt ( and pepper) during 5/6 mn . Add the couscous mix everything. Wait for the stuff to be colder then stuffed the tomatoes and peppers with it. Put your dish in the oven another 30 mn

Surprise Melon
For this desert, you have to prepare it one day before serving.
You need for 6 P:
6 melons Strawberries, Wild strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, blackcurrant, currant, raspberries Marie brizard Hazelnut liquor 1 parisian spoon Fresh mint
parisian spoon
Preparation:
Cut the top of the melon to make like a little hat. Take off the seeds with a spoon. Then use the parisian spoon to make little balls of melon. In a bowl put all the berries except branches of currant and black currant . Mix with melon balls and put this mix fruits salad in the melons. Add 1/2 teaspoon of hazelnut liquor and add Marie Brizard until the melons are full. Put your melons in the fridge for one night. The day D: Put your melons in a dish or separate desert plates. Add the little melon hats, and décorate with the currant you have plus the fresh mint!

Kally's Coustellous ( Pork ribs)
For 2 P, you need:
Pork ribs Salt , pepper, cayenne pepper Provence herbs Worcester sauce 1 TB spoon Honey:1TB ketchup 1TB Spoon 1 Cooking brush
This one dont need to marinade. You put directly the sauce on the ribs and put directly in the oven.
Sauce: mix the worcester sauce the honey and ketchup together. Take the ribs add salt pepper then with a coking brush applie the mix on the ribs.
Put in the oven TH 6/7 during 25/30 mn When it's cooked add Provence herbs and cayenne pepper.
It's delicious if you also prepared boiled potatoes with crème fraîche and chive !

Mimosa Eggs Kally's style
For 2 P you need:
4 eggs 1 flaked tuna 1 little carrot Black olives Green salad like lettuce.
Mayonnaise: 1 Egg yolk, 2 full TB spoon Dijon mustard, salt pepper,66Oz oil
Boil the eggs at least 6mn and let them rest in cold water 10mn. Prepare your mayo during this time and put it in the fridge. Peel the eggs, then separate the yellow from the white you then will put them a dish with some green salad leaves . In a bowl mix the tuna and the mayo plus one cooked yolk . Put the mix in the white eggs You still have 3 yolk that you need to mash with a fork. Put the litthe pieces on the tuna mayo mix then you have your " mimosa".
To décorate use a little triangle of carrot and some black olive to make it more funny.

Hachis Parmentier ( tribute to Antoine Parmentier )
For 4 pers ( or 2 but you'll have the leftovers wich is good )
12,5 Oz ground beef 1 big onion 1,8 Oz butter 3,5 Oz milk 3,5 breadcrumbs Parsley 1 egg
Mash potatoes:
2 pounds potatoes 16,5 Oz milk 3,4 0z butter 1 pinch of nutmeg salt pepper Worn Swiss cheese
1) Prepare the mash first: peel the potoatoes, cut them in 4, put them in cold salt water to boil 30mn. Put some butter in a pan and cook the onions in small pieces until they have a gold color. Add the meat with more butter. Add salt and pepper. Heat the milk and put the bred in it. Add the egg and mix. Add the bread with the meat and a lot of parsley cut in small pieces. Let that rest a moment.
Smah the potatoes with the hot milk butter and nutmeg. Add salp pepper.
In a dish for the oven, put the mix meat first, then cover with the mash potatoes. At the top put the Swiss cheese and put in the oven Th 7 for 20mn.
Serve with green salad of your choice!

Asparagus Brioche buns (Very easy to make) You need for 2P: 2 brioches buns 1 little can of mini asparagus Butter Parsley Swiss Cheese ( or parmesan) Salt Pepper Preparation: Let the asparagus rest to put away the juice. Cut the buns in 2 part ( length) Add some butter , salt and pepper Add the little asparagus, then the parsley, then the cheese. Put in the Oven at 6 Like 4/5 mn. Serve hot. It s ready! Enjoy!

Flat bread asparagus cheese. ( Easy to make and delicious) For 2P you need: 2 flat bread Some goat cheese 1 Tb spoon honey Asparagus green or white Oregano Thyme Dried tomatoes. Sliced almonds 2 tb spoon olive oil. Preparation: Take your flat bread and add a little bit of olive oil. ( Keep some for the end) Put your dried tomatoes, asparagus, Pieces of goat cheese, herbs, then honey sliced almonds and add the rest of olive oil; Put this in the oven to 5/6 8 mn. It s ready!
